Einstein wrote about the influence of gravitation on time in his theory of General Relativity. Then came Emmy Noether’s theorem: Energy conservation demands invariance of the constants of nature, like the speed of light. She wrote to Einstein that his theory cannot guarantee energy conservation in strong gravitation, but Einstein ignored her. Within the solar system, the variance of the speed of light as a consequence of his theory is neglectable. However, in strong gravitation, like that of black holes, it leads to serious errors. A relative simple repair leads to a nicely repaired Schwarzschild solution, abiding by Noether’s theorem of energy conservation. As a consequence: ‘Event Horizons’ and ‘singularities’ are science fiction, not science facts.
